Which GMSV vehicles offer Connected Services?

Chevrolet Connected Services is only available on model year 2026 or newer Corvette models. The hardware and software required to enable Connected Services in Australia and New Zealand is not available for model year 2025 or earlier Corvettes, the Silverado range or GMC Yukon Denali.

I have a MY25 or earlier Corvette model. Can I have Connected Services added to my vehicle?

No – Chevrolet Connected Services is only available on model year 2026 or newer Corvette models. The hardware and software required to enable Connected Services in Australia and New Zealand is not available for model year 2025 or earlier vehicles.

What is Google built-in?

Google built-in seamlessly integrates Google apps and services into your car's infotainment system. Enjoy hands-free control of navigation, communication, entertainment, and more.

Do I need a Chevrolet / GMSV (GM) account to use features with Google built-in? How do I create one?

Yes – Google built in requires Chevrolet Connected Services which is activated through your Chevrolet / GMSV (GM) account. Your Chevrolet Account, which is your user profile in the vehicle, is different from your Google Account. Your Chevrolet Account is the same account you use to access your other vehicle services, such as the Chevrolet Mobile App and owner resources. Signing in with this account ensures your personalised settings, such as your favourite radio stations and your paired phone, are remembered in the vehicle. Your Google Account, should you choose to use it, brings additional personalisation into the vehicle tied to other Google apps and services you may use. For example, your saved home and work addresses will appear in Google Maps in the vehicle.

How do I pair a vehicle in the Chevrolet Mobile App?

You will be shown how to pair your Corvette and activate Connected Services at time the of delivery your vehicle. To pair a vehicle or activate Connected Services, launch the Corvette Mobile App, sign in and select “Add Product”, then follow the prompts to scan your VIN and pair your vehicle.

Can I add family members or friends to my Chevrolet Mobile App to share vehicle information, commands and access?

No – currently family sharing is not available in Australia or New Zealand. GMSV is constantly evaluating new technology for its vehicles, software and mobile app. We will communicate new updates and features as soon as they are ready for customers. Note: you may choose to sign in on multiple devices with the same Chevrolet account.

Can multiple Chevrolet accounts add the same vehicle to their garage?

No – a vehicle can only be added to one account garage at a time. You can make a vehicle available to transfer by first removing it from your account.

What happens to the balance of my complimentary trial if I transfer my vehicle?

Connected Services complimentary trials are linked to their respective vehicles. If you transfer your vehicle, any balance of the 8 year complimentary trial will transfer with the vehicle.

I am having trouble accessing my Chevrolet account, Mobile App or in-vehicle connected features.

Connected Services is dependent on compatible wireless networks provided by third-party wireless service providers and other factors outside of Chevrolet’s control. Services subject to change. Services, connectivity, and capabilities may vary by model, vehicle configuration, and conditions as well as geographical and technical restrictions and are subject to user terms and limitations.
